When it comes to quirky programs, the best weight loss diets for you might not be the best weight loss diets for me. However, the best way to lose weight is the same for everyone. That involves a healthy eating and exercise plan in which you don't fast, you don't binge, and the weight comes off your body.

No one is doomed to be overweight. Even those of us who are very obese can lose weight quickly. In fact, if you're rather obese and sedentary, you can start one of the weight loss diets and be amazed by how fast the weight will start coming off.

I know some people say that being overweight is in their genes, and they can't help it. Personally, I come from a long line of heavy women, and I always used to claim that no diet would work on me because fat was in my genes. The truth of the matter, however, was that I simply needed to stick to one of my weight loss diets. When I did, the pounds dropped fast.

That's the key, isn't it? We all start diets every day and hope for fast weight loss, but how often do we actually stick to a weight loss program? The answer comes in two parts. First, you need a program that's made to work with you, and ease you into a healthier relationship with food. Second, you must want to succeed. No diet in the world will help you unless you truly want to improve your life and drop those extra pounds.
